Industry and market forces are critical to the design, application, and sale of safer chemicals and products. Yet, many companies face serious challenges in understanding the chemical composition of products, the toxicity of materials, what safer, feasible alternatives are available. CPSI works with innovative firms to provide technical and policy support for company and sector level implementation of safer materials.
In addition to technical projects with specific firms, CPSI facilitates the Green Chemistry and Commerce Council, a network of leading firms advancing green chemistry and design for environment.
